We decided that instead of spending money on a Christmas Party dinner this year, we would have cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and desserts (made by board members) in the lobby of the The AmericInn. Members donated the money ordinarily spent on dinner to the Capital Candlelighters to use for gifts at their Holiday Party for sick children and their siblings.

In addition, we donated gifts to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Madison.

Cocktails were at 6:00, with hors d'oeuvres and desserts appearing about 6:30.

The Chinese auction was held as always. Members and guests brought new/unisex $10 gifts wrapped in newspaper. It was suggested that Jewelry Raffle tickets make great gifts!
